We met up with Identity Parade and got to see for ourselves how much the Irish love these guys. Makes sense – they’ve had 3 singles in the Irish charts.

1. For people who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 5 words:
Infectious, powerful, interesting & energetic rock

2. How long has the band been together?
Since 2006 but really in the game since June 2009

3. How did you come to play the style of music you play?
Perseverance & dedication. But a love of melody above all.

4. What influences the lyrics you write?
Everyday life & the surrounds we all share.

5. What can people expect from your live show?
Mayhem…

6. What do you want people to know about your band?
We are a hard working band that are looking for the opportunity to showcase our wares

7. What would you say is your biggest achievement/accomplishment as an artist/band?
Having 3 singles in the Irish charts last year – the highest reaching number 12, playing the Cavern in Liverpool amongst
others.

8. Have you worked with anyone notable on your releases?
We have supported big acts like:  The Saw Doctors, The Blizzards, The Coronas, The Republic of Loose, Aslan, Director, Jerry Fish and lots more!

9. What do you like more – playing festivals or individual shows?
We just love to play live shows,but the sense of togetherness a festival brings is hard to match!

10. What are the best and worst things about your local music scene?
Irish Music fans are the best fun to play to.  It is very difficult to get gigs at the moment due to the lack of decent live venues.

11. If you could open for any artist, who would it be?
We love to play before anyone – we have learnt something from every gig we have ever played.

12. If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Canada…

13. What are your future plans for the band?
Gig, gig and gig

14. Any advice for indie bands just starting out?
Gig, gig and gig
